AN off duty police officer actions led to an arrest of a driver for cannabis on the Ring Road in Beeston.
The West Yorkshire Police Roads Policing Unit tweeted: "Vehicle sighted by off duty officer who called West Yorkshire Police reporting strong smell of cannabis from vehicle and occupants smoking. Our unit stopped the vehicle, driver failed roadside drugs wipe test and cannabis found."
The driver was arrested.
