THIS BMW was seized after the driver was caught speeding, failed to stop for police and ignoring a red light.
The Batley & Spen Neighbourhood Policing Team said the vehicle was initially issued a section 59 warning last week in the Soothill area of Batley.
These warnings are issued in circumstances where vehicles are found to have been used in a manner which causes distress, alarm or annoyance. The warnings cover both the vehicle and the driver.
If the driver or vehicle is stopped again within the next 12 months for displaying the same behaviour, police have the power to seize the vehicle and possibly crush it.
The BMW was seen again on Friday night on White Lee Road, Heckmondwike, travelling at excess speed.
The NPT said: "The vehicle later failed to stop for officers, driving at speed through a red light.
"The vehicle was located parked up a few streets from the address and seized for contravening the section 59 warning."
