TULIPS in parks and gardens across Bradford are known for lifting spirits, so for Mental Health Awareness Week people are being asked to get creative and place a tulip in their window.
People can craft, crochet, draw, paint, crayon or colour in a tulip picture to display, or get out a trowel and place some blooming bulbs in a window box as a sign of support for Mental Health Awareness Week (May 10-16).
The theme for the week is nature and how connecting with the natural world by getting outside, or getting creative, can support good mental health.
To make it as easy to show support with a tulip in your window, internationally renowned artist Paul Cummins MBE has donated a unique illustration of a tulip for people to colour in and display.
