Volunteers at Birstall-based finance company Cattles gave up their time to provide a lick of paint to the Gingerbread Housing Project in Bradford, which provides accommodation for homeless families.
Gingerbread Housing has ten self contained family units and the Cattles volunteers gave a complete make over to a couple of its bedrooms - one used by two little girls and another soon to be used for a new born baby.
Cattles team leader, Ben Miller, said: "We wanted to brighten up the lives of children whose families are going through a difficult time in their lives."
Corine Campbell, a co-ordinator at Gingerbread Housing, was thrilled with the results.
She said: "The volunteers did a lovely job and we can now start the New Year with a fresh new look, which is a great morale boost for both the children and their parents."
