A Horsforth-based company has been confirmed as one of five shortlisted architects as part of a national design competition for a new 30 metre high observation platform above the River Mersey.
Farrell & Clark were chosen from more than 90 entrants to go into the next round of decision making about the site, situated next to Anthony Gormley's famous Another Place installation of 100 figures on Crosby beach.
The platform will provide dramatic views of the sea, wetlands nature area, the Liverpool docks and the city.
