Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision today.
A Nissan Sunny travelling towards Bradford was in collision with a Renault Scenic going towards Rawdon in Apperley Lane, Apperley Bridge, just after 3am.
The passenger in the Nissan, a 20-year-old woman from Burley-in-Wharfedale, was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary with serious facial injuries.
They are not believed to be life threatening.
A 20-year-old man has been arrested and released on bail pending further inquiries on suspicion of being over the prescribed limit.
