Campion will be hoping for an upturn in fortunes on Saturday as the West Riding County Amateur League season reaches the halfway stage.

The Bradford side dropped two places to sixth in the PREMIER DIVISION after last week's home defeat to Brighouse Town and face another tough test at Halifax Irish.

The two sides are level on points but Irish have the edge on goal difference, although they have played a game more.

With just six points separating the top six sides, the title contenders cannot afford too many slip-ups.

At the other end of the table, Wibsey could move out of the relegation zone ahead of Keighley Shamrocks if results go their way.

But to do so they must get at least a point out of their trip to Brighouse Town, who are riding high in third place.

Tyersal will be looking to complete a hat-trick of victories over Overthorpe, having already won 4-2 in the league and 3-0 in the first round of the League Cup.

But the Dewsbury side are no pushovers and have home advantage for this return league fixture.

Meanwhile, Salts will be confident of following up last week's home success over Wakefield City to pull clear of the DIVISION ONE drop zone.

They visit rock-bottom Dudley Hill Rangers this weekend, while mid-table South Bradford host third-placed Crag Road United.
