David Jowett, 26, of Carr House Gate, Wyke, has been released from custody over Christmas after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Jowett appeared at Bradford Magistrates Court on Monday after he failed to attend on Wednesday, December 12.
He admitted breaching his bail, granted after he pleaded guilty to burglary and his case was adjourned for a probation report.
The court heard that Jowett was arrested at his mother's house in Wyke. Police found him hiding behind boxes in a hall cupboard.
He was bailed again to attend court for sentence on Wednesday, January 16.
