A package of improvements at Crossflatts recreation ground is planned for the New Year.
The work will include upgrades to the children's play area, youth shelter and fitness stations.
The footpath, seats and picnic area will be spruced up, along with environmental improvements.
Detailed plans are being developed by Bradford Council following consultation with residents. Representatives from Crossflatts Village Society are also involved.
Part of the funding is coming through "section 106" agreements, which force housing developers to fund community facilities near their projects.
