New figures reveal there are 2,000 fewer victims of crime in the Bradford district.
Between April and the end of September there were 2,070 fewer crime victims in the area than in the same period for 2006.
The figure accounts for more than a fifth of the crime reduction rate throughout West Yorkshire.
Police say that current statistics are indicating that the number of crime victims across the Force, is now 12,500 fewer than last year.
