THERE has been one new reported death from coronavirus in hospitals in the Bradford district.
NHS England announced in yesterday's update (Saturday, April 25) that there was one further death reported from the Covid-19 virus at hospitals in the district.
It comes after there was also one new death reported on Friday at hospitals in the Bradford district.
The death reported today was at Bradford Royal Infirmary (BRI).
It happened on Thursday, April 22.
There were no further deaths at Airedale General Hospital and Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.
The total death toll at hospitals in the Bradford district now stands at 884 - 622 at BRI, 260 at Airedale and two at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.
NHS England announced five patients at hospitals in the North East and Yorkshire who tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19) have died.
All five were reported at hospitals in Yorkshire and the Humber.
Two of those were in West Yorkshire - one at each of BRI and Leeds General Infirmary (LGI).
One was in the East Riding of Yorkshire, at the Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
The final two were in South Yorkshire - one at each of Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundations Trust.
There were an extra 20 deaths reported at hospitals across England in total yesterday.
