FIREFIGHTERS rescued a dog from a car after the cocker spaniel became locked in the vehicle.
The pooch had inadvertently activated a remote control, locking the Audi, with the owner outside.
She alerted the fire service.
One crew from Keighley fire station attended and managed to gain access to the vehicle, which was parked at Manorlands hospice in Oxenhope.
The incident happened at about 2pm today.
Watch commander Ahsan Ali, of Keighley fire station, said: "It was warm inside the vehicle but we managed to rescue the dog within around ten minutes and it was none the worse for its experience."
