POLICE seized a car after catching the driver who "dumped it" and went garden hopping to try escape officers.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Roads Policing Unit (RPU) spotted a black Seat Leon in the Wyke area of Bradford today.
The driver suddenly jumped out of the car and abandoned it, after seeing police.
He ran away and officers chased after him.
The chase included hopping through people's gardens, before the officers managed to catch the driver.
Police arrested them and also conducted checks on the car.
It was cloned and the driver also had no licence or insurance.
Officers seized the vehicle and reporter the driver, as a result.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Vehicle sighted police and immediately dumped the car and ran away.
"Driver detained after some garden hopping.
"Vehicle confirmed cloned and driver had no licence or insurance.
"Vehicle seized and driver reported."
