POLICE arrested a man on suspicion of drink-driving after their Land Rover flipped and lost its axle in a three-vehicle crash.
The collision happened on Brighouse and Denholme Gate Road, at 9.14pm last night.
It involved a Land Rover, a Dodge Calibur and a Mazda.
The Land Rover flipped onto its side and its rear axle was completely ripped from the main body of the car.
One person was taken to hospital as a precaution.
Police arrested the driver of the Land Rover on suspicion of being over the prescribed limit.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "We were called to collision on Brighouse and Denholme Gate Road at 9.14pm last night involving a Land Rover, Dodge Calibur and a Mazda.
"One person was taken to hospital as a precaution.
"The driver of the Land Rover was arrested on suspicion of being over the prescribed limit."
