THIS photo of a Bradford school school trip to Rome was taken in 1975.
It was sent to us by Vincent Finn who says: “St George’s School was built to replace St Mary’s Boys and St Mary’s Girls and St Peter’s schools. It was on Cliffe road opposite Peel Park.
In a relatively short spell of time it was built, opened and then demolished to be replaced with a new school.
“I wonder if any T&A readers went there and remember this school trip to Rome. It’s 46 years since - many of the young folks in the picture will be in the 60s now. How time flies.”
