Witnesses are being sought after a 36-year-old man died when he was in collision with a car in Bradford last Friday night.

The man, from Buttershaw, who has not yet been named by police, was pronounced dead at the scene at Prince's Way at around 11.50pm.

He added that police had been forced to remove revellers to allow officers to investigate and to preserve the scene.

He said: "A number of people have already come forward. This is not being treated as anything other than an unfortunate accident at this stage. A family liaison officer has been appointed to liaise with family members."
