POLICE have confirmed the identity of a woman who died after suffering a head injury on a Bradford road as Wendy Elliott.
The incident took place between 7.30am and 8.30am on Allerton Road near Lady Hill Park on Wednesday, March 24.
It occurred after the 84-year-old lady fell and sustained a head injury while crossing the road near the junction with Chapel Lane.
Wendy, of Bradford, sadly passed away in hospital on 29 March.
Officers are continuing to carry out enquiries on behalf of the Coroner into the matter.
They believe Wendy, who was wearing a knee length black ‘puffer’ type jacket and white beret type hat, was assisted at the roadside by residents.
Enquiries suggest a female came to Wendy’s aid following the incident and helped her back to her home address.
