AN inquest into the death of a young Heckmondwike man has been further suspended as a police investigation is still ongoing.
Bradley Gledhill, 20, was wounded after a fight broke out late at night on Sunday, June 21, last year, in Park Croft, Batley.
Mr Gledhill died later that night in hospital.
Six people have been charged with murder as part of the investigation into his death.
During a very brief hearing held yesterday morning at Bradford Coroners’ Court, Assistant Coroner Angela Brocklehurst said she had been asked to mention the case of Mr Gledhill.
She told the hearing that the police investigation was still ongoing and that a further suspension of the inquest into his death, which was formally opened by Assistant Coroner Katy Dickinson, on August 6 last year, was agreed for another 28 days.
