Bradford-based thermal specialist Damart has kitted out the Northern Ballet Theatre company that has jetted off to China on a four-week tour.

A supply of Damart thermals was donated to help keep the dancers and crew warm while they rehearse for the production of Madame Butterfly that they will perform in major cities including Beijing and Shanghai.

Damart's marketing director, John Bottomley, said: "Northern Ballet Theatre is a great ambassador for the region and so we were more than happy to support them by providing thermals which will keep them warm while they rehearse."

Mark Skipper, chief executive at Northern Ballet Theatre, said: "Damart's generous donation of thermals means the whole team can continue to work hard on tour and practice to perform at their best.

"The team are thankful for Damart's support and are utterly thrilled with the huge selection of warm and cosy thermals to choose from."
