POLICE have charged a man with murder and named a woman who was found dead in the flat they shared.

Carl Chadwick, 35, is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates' Court today charged with the murder of Sarah Keith.

Mrs Keith, who was aged 26, was found dead at the couple's flat in Broadway, Horsforth, two days ago.

West Yorkshire Police launched a murder investigation on Tuesday, after Mrs Keith was found.

Officers were called to the property shortly before 3.30pm.

Murder squad detectives were still at the scene well into Wednesday, with one anonymous onlooker revealing there was a significant police presence in and around the block of flats.

This included two police vans, a police car and two forensic officers who were combing the area and one of the flats.
