The children of local health service staff were celebrating after their Christmas card designs were picked to be used as Bradford and Airedale Teaching Primary Care Trust (tPCT)'s official Christmas cards.
The children were asked to design a card reflecting a healthy, happy Christmas, using healthy foods and positive messages as part of their design.
There were six winners of the competition, three for each age category. The two first prize entries were made into the Christmas cards and sent out to health organisations and other partners across the district.
Forty one children entered the competition, with entries ranging from children as young as two, to as old as 14.
All children who entered the competition were presented with bags full of healthy snacks and goodies for their efforts at a celebration event. They also took part in games and smoothie making to learn how to make their own healthy tasty treats.
Nancy O'Neill, associate director of corporate affairs at the tPCT, said: "It's great to see so many of the children get involved with the competition. We've had some brilliant entries, and it's obvious that a lot of thought was put into all of the cards.
"We are really pleased we took this approach to designing the cards this year - not only have we had some really imaginative approaches to the designs, but it's great to get staff's children involved in what we do."
