Skipton's Medieval Festival organisers should not be out of pocket this year, even though heavy downpours on the first of the Sunday events resulted in profits being 40 per cent down.
Town centre manager Dave Parker said the weather - and therefore trade - had picked up on the second Sunday.
"That was one of the busiest markets we have ever had," he said. "The traders were happy, and the charities are happy."
Mr Parker said the festival had become a financial struggle for organisers Skipton Chamber of Trade but they may have broken even this year.
