A TOUCHING tribute has been paid after the death of a man in Keighley last week.
Police were called to a property on Fell Lane on Thursday, April 8, and found a man in his forties with a serious injury.
He was taken to hospital but died a short time later.
West Yorkshire Police today officially named the man as 49-year-old George Dore, of Fell Lane.
In a tribute, his family said: “He was a kind, generous, well liked local man who was much loved and will be greatly missed.
"A legend of the town that was loved.”
Three people have now been charged with murder.
Anthony Atha, 53, of West Bank Close, Keighley, and Leslie Walker, 46, and Angela Thornton, 48, both of Nightingale Street, Keighley, made an initial appearance at Leeds Magistrates' Court yesterday.
They appeared at Bradford Crown Court today and all three have been remanded in custody.
A provisional trial date has been set for September 27.
