IT was a case of back to some normality for much of Bradford yesterday as many businesses reopened for the first time this year.

The relaxed lockdown rules meant that pubs, cafes and restaurants opened their outdoor areas, and non-essential shops, hairdressers and gyms were allowed to reopen too.

Businesses were busy with large queues outside stores, including Primark and Debenhams yesterday, with more queues this morning.

Pub beer gardens and outside eating areas are also proving popular, with the Turls Green Wetherspoons pub in Centenary Square welcoming early morning customers.

Here are 12 of our favourite pictures from across the district so far.
