A MALE has been arrested for criminal damage in a joint operation using a 'Trojan bus'.
The West Yorkshire Police's Bradford West Neighbourhood Policing Team tweeted: "On 9/4/2021 Bradford West and Bradford South NPT’s have conducted a joint operation with First Bus involving a Trojan bus.
"This operation has been put in place due to a number of buses which have been damaged within the Bradford district.
"As a result of the operation, a male has been arrested for criminal damage within the outer city area of Bradford West. Enquiries are currently ongoing."
The tactic of using a Trojan bus sees police officers in plain clothes ride on bus services through ‘hotspot’ areas and was also deployed last autumn around the busy Halloween and Bonfire Night period.
