FINES have been handed out to 20 motorists who parked in a "dangerous and inconsiderate manner" at Ilkley Moor.
A member of the public had contacted police on Sunday, concerned at the number of cars that were parked dangerously on Hangingstone Road, near the main car park for the Cow and Calf Rocks.
When members of the Neighbourhood Policing Team arrived they ticketed 20 vehicles.

As well as blocking the pavement, many of the cars were also parked in a way that would require other drivers to cross a double white line in the centre of the road to pass them.
A police spokesman said: "After a call from a concerned member of public Ilkley NPT officers have issued 20 tickets to vehicles parked in a dangerous and inconsiderate manner."
Problem parking at the District beauty spot has been a problem for some time, with similar police responses in recent months seeing dozens of drivers fined.
