AMENDED plans for the redevelopment of Horsfall Stadium have been submitted to Bradford Council.

Bradford (Park Avenue)'s plans to improve its grounds were approved by Bradford Council last March.

The changes would include LED floodlighting around pitch and the construction of a two-storey modular cabin building for hospitality and changing room facilities.

It was part of a push to turn the stadium  into a community sports hub.

Now the club has submitted an amended scheme, swapping the two storey building for a single story one.

New facilities for Bradford (Park Avenue) grounds approved

Submitted by the The Horsfall Community Trust in Partnership, the application says: "The revised single storey building is more accessibility friendly, all areas being accessed at ground level, not requiring ramps or lifts."

As with the previous application, the building would provide changing facilities, match day hospitality, classrooms, community space.

The application adds: "The suite can be used by the Bradford (Park Avenue) AFC, the Horsfall  College of Sport and students from local schools and colleges and The Horsfall Community Trust for holding and enabling a wide range of community activities/events."

A decision on the proposed amendments is expects in June.
