POLICE are appealing for information to help identify a man they want to speak to following the recent anti-lockdown protest in Bradford city centre.
The man, who has a beard and unkempt brown hair, was wearing a yellow coat at the protest on Saturday, March 27.
Police in Bradford want to speak to anyone who can help identify the man in connection with an ongoing investigation.
Officers are urging anyone to come forward to recognises this man or has any information, to assist with an ongoing investigation.
Anyone who can identify the man pictured or who has any further information is asked to call police on 101 quoting crime reference number 13210152469, use the live chat facility on the West Yorkshire Police website, or contact independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
During the anti-lockdown protest in the city centre, a few hundred people gathered in City Park before walking up Great Horton Road.
Some people at the protest also tried to storm a Covid-19 vaccination centre. Nine police officers were injured during the protest and 13 people were arrested for offences including attacking emergency workers, public order offences, dangerous driving and breaching Covid regulations.
A 35 year old man from Keighley was charged with holding a gathering of more than 30 people in a public area, and three people - two from Bradford aged 39 and 45 and one from Wetherby aged 41 - were also charged with holding a gathering of more than two people. All are due in court on June 11.
