THE former Yorkshire Vets building in Windhill could be converted into a beauty salon if new plans are approved.
A planning application to convert the Leeds Road building into a hair salon/beauty parlour with a second floor flat has been submitted to Bradford Council by Sarah Chambers.
The application says the business will open from 10am to 6pm, and create five full time jobs.
Plan to turn Victorian rail station into flats is approved
The plans show that the ground floor will have a reception and a number of salon rooms, while the first floor will have two training rooms
It shows the second floor flat, accessed by a new metal staircase on the side of the building, will be one bedroom and feature a walk-in wardrobe.
The prominent building is on the main route between Shipley and Thackley.
A decision is expected next month.
