BRADFORD Council community testing teams will be back out across the district today handing out home testing kits to help people get tested for Covid-19.
The team will be knocking on doors offering free tests, to help get a better understanding of the virus and bring infections down.
The Council asks people to "do their bit and get tested" if the teams knock on their door.
As usual, volunteers will be out in one area offering tests. Today, the home testing team will be door to door in the Bradford Moor council ward, while community engagement will be in Eccleshill today.
Volunteers will be wearing a purple volunteers vest, blue lanyard with an ID card, a face covering at all times, and be travelling in a saloon car displaying a Bradford Council parking permit and a sign labelled Bradford Council Community Work.
In BRADFORD MOOR we have Council staff & volunteers working in selected areas offering COVID-19 home tests today (WEDS), with door knocking taking place in ECCLESHILL. They will be wearing a purple tabard and Council ID badge. Tests are free. #BradfordCovidRepsonseHub pic.twitter.com/5e5YI1DZed
