THE Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer continued with an all-star line-up.
The bakers had to tackle fondant fancies, a latticed cherry pie and a 3D cake including biscuits and meringues where they are happy for their three challenges.
The contestants braving the tent last night were YouTuber KSI, Little Mix singer Jade Thirlwall, TV presenter Stacey Dooley and comedian Katherine Ryan.
Here is Sandy Docherty’s verdict of week four’s episode, as she continues her weekly Telegraph & Argus column which will be online each Wednesday morning while the series is on.
Sandy took part in the 2015 series and is the child protection and welfare officer at Titus Salt School in Baildon.

She said: “Last night’s show was really good, everyone seemed at ease.
“They have really chosen the contestants well this season. Nobody is hard work. They all have then ability to laugh at themselves.
“Stacey Dooley was completely rubbish and she admitted it.
“Jade was quite a natural, light-hearted thing too. She got to be star baker but said herself she was then best of a bad bunch.
“It was really good to watch.
“Katherine Ryan was really funny. I thought she was funny when she said to Paul Hollywood he was wearing a Canadian tuxedo as he had double denim on.

“Paul Hollywood was more helpful with the contestants last night.
“They had quite tough challenges last night. To do fondant fancies is not easy top do. There are a few tricks to freeze them and then dip them.
“The cherry pie is not easy to contain the juice. You have to have good pastry.
“The showstopper was tough. The Bake-Off tent is not good for meringue.
“KSI made me laugh that he was surprised when something went right for him.
“The cancer story was another hopeful story, of the little girl Isla responding well to treatment, which was really good to see.
Children shouldn’t have to go through this. Families shouldn’t have to go through this. Our hearts are with you, brave Isla. ❤️❤️❤️

“It gets across that all these efforts that all of the charities is beginning to pay off.
“Over the last couple of weeks these cancer stories on the show have had more optimistic messages.
“Matt Lucas is coming good as a presenter on his own. Noel Fielding should wonder whether they need him back.”
