THE Broadway, Bradford has donated 300 Easter eggs to Bradford Hospitals' Charity.
Young patients of Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust will receive the chocolate eggs ahead of the Bank Holiday weekend.
The children who are being cared for at Bradford Royal Infirmary, St Luke’s Hospital, and those being treated in their homes by the Children’s Community Team will benefit from the donated treats.
Ian Ward, general manager at The Broadway, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be able to spread some cheer this Easter.
“The eggs are a small treat for patients – we hope they are thoroughly enjoyed.”
Hayley Collis, head of fundraising for Bradford Hospitals’ Charity, the official NHS charity partner of Bradford Teaching Hospitals, said: “It’s been an extremely tough year for all our patients, but especially so for our children and young people who have found their lives turned upside down by Covid-19.
“They have been incredibly brave during these worrying times, and so we think the children who are being cared for by our doctors and nurses all deserve a small treat this Easter.
“Thank you to The Broadway, Bradford, for this kind and generous donation of chocolate eggs.
“You have always supported and championed the NHS in Bradford and we are grateful for your continued support.”
