AN application has been submitted to renew a sex establishment licence at a Bradford gentleman’s club.
Jason Armitage has applied for the renewal of a licence to use the premises at Cleopatra’s Lounge on Little Horton Lane as a sexual entertainment venue.
Any objections should be made in writing until April 4 to the department of Place, Licensing Team, Argus Chambers, Hall Ings, Bradford BD1 1HX, dated March 15, 2021.
Other public notices announced by Bradford Council this week are:
l Application for an outdoor bar at Marquis of Granby, Riddlesden. Mog Canalside Pub Company Ltd has applied for a variation of licence for the premises.
The application was submitted on March 9. Any representations should be made in writing to the Licensing Team, Argus Chambers, Hall Ings, Bradford, BD1 1HX and must be 28 days following the day after the application was submitted to the council. Anyone wishing to inspect the licensing register may do so at the above address between the hours of 9am and 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 4.30pm Friday.
l Application for a licence to use the premises at 249 Kundi Buildings, Allerton Road, Bradford, for sale by retail of alcohol during the hours of 12noon and 10pm, submitted by Balraj Singh. Representations should be made in writing to Licensing Team, Third Floor, Argus Chambers Bradford, BD1 1HX. The Licensing Register can be inspected at the above address between 9am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am-4.30pm Friday.
* Temporary closure of Ridgeway, Wrose, for water works. The order, in force until 6pm today, affects the length of Ridgeway from a point outside No. 13 to No. 23A. Alternative traffic routes are via Ridgeway (unaffected section), Claremont Road, Wrose Road and vice versa.
* Temporary closure of Broadstone Way, Holme Wood for gas works. The order affects Broadstone Way from a point outside No. 73 to Holme United Reform Church. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Alternative traffic routes are via Broadstone Way (unaffected section), Tong Street, Holme Lane, Madison Avenue and vice versa. The order is from April 1 at 8am to April 14 at 6pm.
* Temporary closure of Thornaby Drive, Clayton, for telecoms works. The order affects Thornaby Drive from its junction with Terrington Crest to a point outside No 139 Thornaby Drive. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Alternative traffic routes are via Thomaby Drive (unaffected section), Bradford Road, Terrington Crest and vice versa. The order is from March 31 at 8am until April 1 at 6pm.
* Temporary closure of Chat Hill Road, Thornton, and Low Lane, Clayton for gas works. The order affects Chat Hill Road from its junction with Low Lane to a point outside Chat Hill Farm and Low Lane from a point outside Rose Acre to point outside Osborne House. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Alternative traffic routes are via Chat Hill Road (unaffected section), Thornton Road, Brighouse and Denholme Road, Albert Road, Sand Beds, Scarlet Heights, Calder Banks, Highgate Road, Baldwin Lane, The Avenue, Town End Road, Low Lane and vice versa. The order comes into effect on March 29 at 8am to April 30 at 6pm.
* Temporary closure of a Silsden footpath from its junction with Hawber Cote Lane to a point outside No. 30 Banklands Lane.
There will be no alternative route for pedestrians. The order came into effect on Friday March 26 and will remain in force until September 25, although the closure can remain in force for up to six months if necessary.
