Bradford Council is holding a host of Christmas parties with a difference this year - the fun is taking place at its swimming pools.
They will be held at pools across the district over the weekend.
The parties will include a pool disco, a range of fun and games, and a visit from Santa who will give youngsters a free goody bag. And a special Fun-Fit-Kids party will be held at Richard Dunn Sports Centre tomorrow from 10.15am to 12.15pm at a cost of £5, which includes a buffet and a goody bag from Santa.
Head of sport and leisure at the Council, Steve Warner, said: "These exciting pool parties give families the opportunity to spend time together, enjoy the fun of a festive party and take some exercise too, which is so easily overlooked at Christmas time."
The parties take place at the following times:
- Today at Bowling Pool from 5pm to 7pm
- Tomorrow at Ilkley Pool from 12.30pm to 3pm, Shipley Pool from 10am to noon, Bingley Pool from 2pm to 3.30pm and Rhodesway Pool from 10am to noon.
Prices are £2.50 for children, £3.50 for adults, and £6 for a family ticket, which includes two adults and two children or one adult and three children.
