A group of Bradford Community Housing Trust staff have created a community garden at a local charity project in just three days.
The volunteers rolled up their sleeves to cut back shrubs, fit decking, paint fencing, plant flowers and build a gazebo at the Gingerbread Housing Project in Boldshay Street, Barkerend.
The Gingerbread project provides temporary accommodation for single parents and their families.
BCHT warden Mark Mitchell said: "The challenge was to turn a tired looking garden into an attractive and welcoming space.
"Thanks to the fantastic efforts of colleagues and the generosity of local businesses we've achieved this.
"It's now a garden parents can relax in and children can enjoy playing in."
BCHT chief executive Geraldine Howley said: "Well done to everyone involved. BCHT is delighted to support the Bradford Cares employee volunteering scheme and help make a positive difference to people's lives."
