An application has been submitted for a medical centre on the site of the former Silver Cross works at Guiseley.
The application for a two-storey medical facility building with 20 car parking spaces has been submitted by White Young Green Planning in Leeds on behalf of Citymed investments.
No details have been released about the type of facility which is planned, but Citymed Investments has been talking with the Primary Care Trust.
A spokesman for White Young and Green said there had been a public exhibition about the proposed facility and a few of the images were still on show at Guiseley Library.
He said an operator for the facility had still to be decided and this would be determined by how the application went through.
He said the general public were able to access details of the proposals for the site on the Leeds City council website, and were able to make comments on the proposed scheme.
