FOR a couple that never tire of letting us know how much they value their privacy, Harry and Meghan seem very keen on the limelight.
First comes Harry’s tacky chat with James Corden, over afternoon tea on an open-topped bus, and now there’s the Oprah “no subject off limits” interview. Teasers show Meghan in a £3,300 Armani dress, the same colours Princess Diana wore for her Panorama interview, and Harry complaining that life “has been unbelievably tough for the two of us”.
At a time of crisis when people have lost jobs and loved ones, and are saying goodbye through care home windows, it is infuriatingly crass for this over-privileged couple to whinge about having it tough. They want the media on their terms - bowing and scraping to them.
