A WONDER strike from Dean Windass for Bradford City has been highlighted as today's Goal of the Day by the Premier League.
Every day, the Premier League digs up classic goals from its archives for fans to enjoy on Twitter, and today's is an absolute worldie from former Bantams striker Dean Windass.
The clip, from City's 4-4 draw with Derby County on April 21, 2000, was one of a hat trick of goals for Dean Windass in the game, and was the pick of the bunch, with the Premier League saying "Dean Windass doing bits from distance".
The move begins with City legend Stuart McCall winning the ball back before laying it off to Norwegian right-back Gunnar Halle, who plays a hopeful long ball forwards.
The Rams' centre back's clearing header is extremely poor and falls perfectly for Windass, who strikes a low curling shot on the half-volley into the bottom corner.

Described as a "fabulous goal" on commentary, the keeper never stood a chance, and in celebration Windass removes his shirt before being mobbed by Wayne Jacobs.
"You knew the moment he struck it, it was going in," said the commentator. And he's not wrong.
That season City finished in 17th, with Paul Jewell helping the club beat the drop.
