TWO people were fined for breaking Covid-19 rules after travelling over 150 miles to see their grandchildren in Keighley.
West Yorkshire Police said that the three-and-a-half-hour trip taken by the Buckinghamshire couple was not an "essential journey", "even if" it was to see their loved ones.
In a tweet published shortly after 8pm last night, police added the hashtags '#ExpensiveTrip' and '#DontBlameTheGrandkids'.
