BRADFORD has been voted in the top 20 vegan-friendly cities in the UK, according to a study.

To celebrate the increase in veganism worldwide, a new study by Exante has found the most vegan-friendly cities for take-out and delivery in the UK, with Bradford narrowly missing out on the top 10 in 11th spot.

With an estimated three million vegans in the UK, Exante analysed the TripAdvisor data of the most populated places in the UK, calculating the percentage of restaurants in each that offer both delivery and vegan options, to discover which cities are the most vegan-friendly in lockdown.

Bradford offers good choices for vegans, with 26 vegan-friendly restaurants out of 54 offering delivery, which is a bonus for budding vegans residing in Bradford. This amounts to 49 per cent of the total restaurants in the city.

As part of the study, Exante has also put together a list of the best vegan take-outs in Bradford, which is ranked based on the number of ‘Excellent’ TripAdvisor reviews for each takeout and delivery restaurant offering plant-based items.
