Plans to convert 42 Upper Sackville Street, Skipton, into two homes have been approved by Craven District Council.
Applicant Janet Nallon said at yesterday's planning committee meeting that the change of use would not lead to any more cars than at present.
The end-of-terrace house will be converted into two flats with on-street parking.
