The cases of a man and a woman accused of fly-tipping offences in Shipley have been adjourned until the New Year after they failed to turn up at court.
Bradford Council is talking legal action against Andi Albi Halliday, 21, of Hirst Wood Crescent, Shipley, for allegedly dumping waste including carpets, cardboard and wood in Hirst Mill Crescent, Saltaire, and Higher Coach Road in Baildon.
His co-accused, Adele Naylor, 30, of The Grove, Baildon, who works at Bronz Bodiz beauty consultants in Shipley, is also accused of failing to make sure controlled waste was disposed of properly.
Both face two charges under the Environmental Protection Act.
They were due to appear before Bingley magistrates but neither attended court.
Fresh notices were served at a short court hearing for them to attend and magistrates adjourned the case until Thursday, January 24.
