Two teenagers have been remanded in custody, accused of the murder of 17-year-old Heckmondwike Grammar School student who was stabbed to death at Dewsbury railway station.
Michael Brook, 18, and a 17-year-old youth who cannot be named for legal reasons, made a brief appearance at Batley and Dewsbury Magistrates' Court.
They are charged with the murder of Ahmed Hassan. He was stabbed in the back on Saturday near the entrance to Dewsbury railway station.
The accused spoke only to confirm their personal details during a five-minute hearing. The 17-year-old accused is also charged with affray.
Brook, of St Mathews Road, Dewsbury, and the 17-year-old accused were both remanded in custody until Friday.
They will appear at Leeds Crown Court.
There was no application for bail.
