PICTURES have emerged from the aftermath of a hammer attack at Morrisons' car park in Heckmondwike yesterday.
Two people suffered head injuries in a hammer and crowbar attack that took place at Morrisons' car park on Union Street, Heckmondwike, at 2.40pm on Saturday.
West Yorkshire Police reported that three teenage boys were arrested for a public order offence after allegedly causing injuries to two other teenage boys in the attack.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police added that the incident appeared to be a "fallout between two groups of teenagers".
A spokesperson for the West Yorkshire Ambulance Service said two people suffered head injuries and one was taken to Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield.
The pictures show a large police presence at the scene. Two ambulances and one rapid response vehicle were also called to the incident.
