FIREFIGHTERS from across Bradford were still at the scene this morning of a massive fire at the Oxford Bingo & Social Club in Undercliffe.
Appliances from Bradford, Shipley, Fairweather Green, Stanningley and Odsal fire stations and an aerial from Leeds Fire Station, along with other support crews, were called to the fire at the building on Dudley Hill Road at 12.21am.
A spokesperson from the West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "It is a single-storey building 50 metres by 15 metres and was 100 per cent involved in fire. Crews were using six jets and one aerial. There were no reports of any persons involved."
At 7am, two pumps remained in attendance at the scene damping down and are using two jets.
A building inspector has been requested to attend due to dangerous condition of the structure of the building.
