RESIDENTS’ parking permits are proposed for an area of Wrose.
Bradford Council has announced the order, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, to introduce ‘Residents Permit Parking’, operational at all times with unlimited stay on a length of Wrose View.
A copy of the draft order, together with a map showing the affected roads and the Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the order, is available at bradford.gov.uk/transport-and-travel/highways/traffic-regulation-order or obtained from Craig Williams, Senior Engineer, Traffic and Road Safety (North) at craig.williams@bradford.gov.uk or by calling (01535) 618294.
Anyone wishing to object to the proposed order should send the grounds for objection in writing by post to City Solicitor, Legal and Democratic Services, City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, City Hall, Bradford BD1 1HY or by email to legalobjections@bradford.gov.uk to be received no later than 12 noon on March 15 quoting reference:- CORP/PCD/SLW/407700.
Other public notices announced by Bradford Council this week are:
* Temporary road closure at Carr Lane, Windhill, for water works to be carried out. The order will be from a point outside No 31 Carr Lane to a point outside No. 37 Carr Lane. Alternative routes for traffic will be available via Carr Lane (unaffected section), Crag Road, Owlet Road, Festival Avenue, Gaisby Lane and vice versa. The order remains in force until 6pm on March 5.
* Temporary road closure at Egypt Road, Thornton, for water works. The order affects the length of Egypt Road from its junction with Dean Lane to a point outside No 14/16 Egypt Road. Alternative routes for traffic will be available via Egypt Road (unaffected section), Black Dyke Lane, Old Allen Road, Dean Lane and vice versa. The order is in effect from 9.30am until 3.30pm today.
* Temporary road closure at West Lane, Baildon, for water works. The order will affect the length of West Lane from its junction with Westcliff Avenue to its junction with Salisbury Avenue.Alternative routes for traffic will be via West Lane (unaffected section), Lucy Hall Drive, Glen Road, Bingley Road, Hawksworth Road, Moorgate, Northgate, Towngate, The Grove, Newton Way and vice versa. The order will come into effect from 9.30am hours until 3.30pm hours on March 5.
* Temporary road closure at Lumb Lane, Manningham, for water works. The order will affect the length of Lumb Lane from its junction with Alice Street to its junction with Clarendon Court.
Alternative routes for traffic will be via Lumb Lane (unaffected section), Westgate, White Abbey Road, Whetley Hill, Carlisle Road and vice versa. The order will come into effect tomorrow from 9.30pm hours until 11.59pm.
* Temporary road closure at Moor Lane, Menston, for water works. The order will affect the length of Moor Lane from its junction with Moor Road/Hillings Lane to a point outside ‘High Toft’.
Alternative routes for traffic will be via Moor Lane (unaffected section), Main Street, Bingley Road, Hillings Lane and vice versa. The order will come into effect today from 8am until March 26 at 6pm.
