POLICE found a metal baseball bat and a "huge" bin liner of cannabis in a car that was left open and had been used in a crime.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Bradford West Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) were out on patrol in the Toller ward last Friday.
They came across a car that was "insecure".
Police conducted enquiries on the vehicle and then proceeded to search it.
Inside was a metal baseball bat and a "huge" bin liner of cannabis.
The officers seized the items and also the car, as it had been used in a crime.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "On Friday, February 19 officers were on patrol and came across an insecure car in the Toller Ward.
"Enquiries were conducted and the car searched.
"Inside was found a metal baseball bat and a huge bin liner of cannabis.
"The vehicle was seized as used in crime."
