Vehicles stuck on Ilkley Moor
POLICE investigating reports of cars driving on Ilkley Moor have seized three vehicles after they became stuck in the ground.
Officers say the vehicles had been "ripping up our green spaces."
West Yorkshire Police's Operation Steerside team were informed of a number of vehicles driving on the protected green space this morning.
They arrived to find three vehicles on the moorland, and that they had all become "very stuck."

A spokesman for the team said: "All three of these vehicles have been seized using powers under S59 of the Police Reform Act for driving offroad.
"Three less ripping up our green spaces."
