BRADFORD is the third highest city having the most babies, according to a study.
Research from Flowercard has looked at the UK’s 30 biggest towns and cities to reveal which are the most loved-up cities looking at factors including annual births, the number of marriages and civil partnerships and engagement ring searches. Bradford was in third place, with 1,347 annual births per 100,000 people.
Residents in Luton are having the most offspring, with 1,528 annual births per 100,000 people. Birmingham is second with 1,356 births.
But Bradford ranks 28th out of the 30 places overall, with a ‘loved-up’ score of 3.27.
This is made up of a score of 260 for annual marriages and civil partnerships; 1,437 for annual births per 100,000 people; 54 date night searches.
Engagement ring searches in Bradford scored 2,379 and flower delivery searches scored 2,579.
Bristol notched up the highest overall score with 7.84.
