Yorkshire Water teams are working to fix a "complex issue" after a burst in a rising main led to sewer flooding in the Shipley area.
The top of Dockfield Road and Aireside Road are currently closed due to the incident.
Environment Agency officials are also on the scene analysing the environmental impact of the burst.
A Yorkshire Water spokesperson said: “On Friday evening we had a burst on one of our rising mains in Shipley. As a result, there has been some sewer flooding in the area and the top of Dockfield Road and Aireside Road are now closed. It’s a complex issue to fix, but our team is on site and working hard to get it sorted.
“We currently have tankers in place, moving between the site and Esholt waste treatment works to help reduce the impact of the burst. Residents of Esholt village may notice more traffic than usual – we know how inconvenient that can be, thank you for your patience as we work to reduce disruption as much as possible.”
The Environment Agency tweeted: "Officers are currently on-site investigating environmental impacts of a burst combined sewer overflow in Baildon. We are working with Yorkshire Water on the response."
